After processing your payment, parcels are despatched by Royal Mail or Courier as soon as possible, not later than 3 working days * An automated 'Order Dispatched' email message will be sent to the email address as on your order. Orders paid for by Credit/Debit card and offical school/musea/national trust orders are processed within 48 hours. Be aware that if you order online on Friday afternoon, payment may be processed the following Monday and in busy times of the year (Christmas) your goods ultimately may be dispatched the Wednesday after. Cheque payment and bank to bank transfers will take more time, usually 10 working days after receiving your cheque. If an item happens to be out of stock we will contact you asap. * Always allow extra time in busy periods, especially around Christmas. Delivery Times Standard Post: Europa Delivery to Europe is by Airmail or by Road for larger or heavier parcels. Parcels to Western Europe usually arrive within 4 working days, but expect longer delivery times for Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece. Rest of the World Overseas deliveries sent by Airmail (under 2 kilograms) usually arrive within 10 working days. Parcels over 2 Kilograms sent by (Expedited) ParcelPost usually arrive within 5 days, see below.
	For parcels over 2KG Standard ParcelPost shipping is by TNT, Expedited shipping is by ParcelForce. International & Overseas orders: Faster Expedited 'Global Express' 2-4 day delivery is available to USA/Canada/Australasia/Japan etc. If this speedier upgrade is available, the costs will be shown under 'delivery options' in the shopping cart. PLEASE NOTE: Contact us to confirm any seriously urgent Very Last Minute Order! We cannot monitor all incoming online orders instantaneously. If you placed a very Last Minute Expedited Order, you have to confirm by phone/fax/email, otherwise things may go wrong! We arrange Expedited orders on a frequent basis, but occasionally we might be attending trade shows, have half day closing or even be on Holiday. Delivery Times of International ParcelPost: From experience we know that ParcelPost Packets to the USA/Canada (East Coast) arrive within 14 days - Expedited Courier service arrives within 6 days. Shipping to the West Coast takes about 1-2 days longers. Mexico & South America are served within 15 days for standard ParcelPost and 7 days expedited. Destinations east of the UK ( e.g Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand) have 10-15 working days delivery time for standard ParcelPost and about 7 days for Expedited shipping. * Please note there is a time difference between you and us over here in the UK, when you have an urgent international order! 	Price examples for International Shipping: For light parcels costs start from £2.35 to EUROPE and £3.45 to the USA and THE REST OF THE WORLD. For heavy or large parcels between 2 and 30KG transport costs are around £15 to Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland (Eire), Netherlands and Luxembourg. Shipping costs for larger packets over 2KG to eg. USA/Canada/Australia start at £29.95 Why international shipping costs can be high for some articles: Our system calculates shipping costs, based upon the total weight of ordered goods. Small orders with a total weight under 2KG are still affordable to ship worldwide, but as soon as the total weight of your goods exceeds 2 Kilograms or when your parcel is large in volume, overseas shipping costs will be higher. Example: If you order a Wooden Hoop, the toy itself weighs around 1KG including packaging, but the parcel has a large volume which is the equivalent of 8KG! The Hoop is over 60cm (2ft) in diameter and can only be shipped by ParcelPost method, it cannot be shipped by standard Airmail. It will cost around £30 to ship to USA/Canada/Australia etc, even though the toy itself costs around £9. If possible we sometimes split an order into 2 (or more) parcels, keeping the weight under 2 KG for each parcel, thus keeping the shipping costs down as well.
